Fayoum (also Faiyum) is a city in Middle Egypt southwest of Cairo where visitors enjoy its year round moderate climate, clear environment and monuments from Pharaonic, Greek-Roman, Coptic and Islamic eras. The city was named Mir Ware meaning the great sea then Sdt Sdt meaning Abstract Lake Land and with the Greek Roman aeon, it was the ancient site of Crocodilopolis (also Krokodilopolis or Ptolemais Euergetis) founded in around 4000 B.C. and is the oldest city in Egypt and one of the oldest cities in Africa. Main attractions of peaceful quite Fayoum include Qaroun Lake, waterwheels and Wadi El-Rayan.

Tour Voucher

• After your tour is confirmed we will email final confirmation and voucher to print and bring with you. Details will include contact numbers of your tour operator and customer care and additional information for your convenience.

Cancellation Policy

• Tour Egypt Travel® does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons beyond control. If cancellation happens due to personal or business reasons and Tour Egypt Travel® has already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
