Itinerary
Day 1: Giza Sightseeing
Tour Egypt Travel® representative will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada or El Gouna to Cairo by a luxury air-condition vehicle drive approximately for 7 hours with one stop in the middle of the way, in case you need a rest. Discover the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx of Giza (locally know as Abu El Hul “the terrifying one”), the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body guarding the Pyramid of Khafra. This full day tour includes a visit o the Valley Temple that lies beside Sphinx. Lunch will be served in a local air-condition Egyptian restaurant. After lunch-time, continue your day excursion to visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser (Zoser), built by engineer Imhotep, and the biggest tomb from the Old Kingdom, Mereruka Tomb. Then you will visit Memphis the capital of the Old Kingdom of Egypt. In the end of the day you have an optional stop at a papyrus institute where you will have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs from Egypt. Then transfer to your hotel check in and overnight.
Day 2: Cairo City Tour
Breakfast at hotel, meet our friendly tour guide in the lobby to discover visit the Egyptian Museum to gawk at the widest range of pharaonic masterpieces in the world like the Gold Mask of Tutankhamun, composed of 11 kg of solid gold and the Grave Mask of King Amenemope of the 21st Dynasty. Then you will visit the Citadel of Salah Ed-Din boasting the alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali. Lunch will be provided in an Egyptian restaurant before you continue to Old Cairo and see the amazing art and culture by walking in the heart of Cairo with our friendly tour guide. Then transfer to Khan El Khalily bazaar (if there’s enough time) one of the oldest markets in the Middle East. After that travel via air-conditioned modern vehicle to your hotel in Hurghada.
