Egypt in 8 Days Cairo and Nile Cruise Holiday

Arrive at the Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by Tour Egypt Travel® representative who will meet and assist you at the airport. Then transfer to your hotel. There will be a short briefing with your guide about your itinerary, Check in overnight at your hotel.

Overnight: Cairo

Tour Egypt Travel® private qualified Egyptologist tour guide will pick up in the morning by a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle. The first stop will be at Giza Necropolis carrying Great Pyramids of Giza. Decipher the secrets of the Great Sphinx of Giza that guards the Pyramid of Khafre and the Temple Valley. Move from Giza Necropolis to the Necropolis of Saqqara in which you find the Step Pyramid of Djoser. Enjoy the superstructure of the Step Pyramid with six steps built in six stages of limestone blocks. Lunch will be served in a good quality Egyptian restaurant after which you will be taken to Memphis, the first capital of Egypt which serves a number of the most important archaeological finds over the millennia. Then our representative will transfer you to Giza Railway Station to take sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner will be provided onboard and have an overnight.

Overnight: Sleeper train

Breakfast will be served aboard your train and once you arrive in Aswan, our private Egyptologist guide will drive you to the High Dam of Aswan, one of the significant great industrial achievements. Then you will transfer to your Nile cruise embarkation to check in for 3 nights. Lunch will be served aboard the deluxe Nile cruise. After taking your afternoon tea, meet our private guide again to discover the majestic Philae Temple of Isis. Off to the Unfinished Obelisk which is the largest known ancient one and was intended to complement the so-called Lateran Obelisk. After Then take a felucca ride in an awe-inspiring atmosphere and calm sailing experience to visit Kitchener Island famous for its subtropical, exotic and rare plants. Then move to Elphantine Island which is the largest among Aswan's islands. Transfer back to your Nile cruise to have an overnight on board.

Enjoy the morning sailing to Luxor, the site of ancient city of Thebes. First visit will be paid to Temple of Kom Ombo located on high grounds overlooking the Nile, which can be dubbed as a double temple built as a dedication to two sets of gods, Haroeris and Sobek during the Ptolemic Dynasty. From there, sail to Edfu, the site of the Ptolemaic Temple of Horus. Enjoy your lunch then take a tour in Edfu Temple of Horus (also Known as Edfu Temple). Continue sailing to Luxor. Take an unforgettable dinner on board and have an overnight in Esna.

Overnight: Nile Cruise

Breakfast will be taken on board your Nile cruise after which you will discover the west bank of Luxor by visiting the Valley of the Kings where 18th and 20th Dynasties powerful Pharaohs were buried in the Theban necropolis. Then move beneath Deir el Bahari cliffs to Valley of the Queens where wives of Pharaohs were buried. Visit Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt. On the way back to Luxor east bank you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, a twin statues of Amenhotep III stand since 1350 BC. Get back to your Nile cruise to have lunch and enjoy your last night in Luxor.

After breakfast, disembark your Nile cruise and check out to get transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to aboard to enjoy a day tour in the staggering Karnak Temple Complex, the greatest example of worship in history. Then pay a visit to Luxor Temple, built by Amunhotep III during the New Kingdom. Then transfer to Luxor Railway Station to catch the sleeper train back to Cairo and with an overnight on board the train.

Have breakfast on board. Upon arrival in Cairo, transfer to your hotel to Check in. Later, meet our friendly tour guide to move to have a magnificent tour among 120,000 items of Egyptian antiquities in the Egyptian Museum, one of the most important museums in the ancient world. Afterwards, breathe the cool air in the medieval Islamic fortification; Saladin Citadel of Cairo boasting the famous alabaster Ottoman Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Lunch will be served in a quality local restaurant. After lunch-time, walk among the remnants of Old Cairo and an opportunity of shopping in the oldest market in the Middle East, Khan El Khaliliy before you return back to your hotel in Cairo and have an overnight.

After check-out, you will be transferred by your tour manger to take you to the Cairo International Airport for your flight back home.
