This remarkably deep, narrow crevice is streaked with purple, red, yellow and orange mineral deposits. As one ventures into the canyon, the walls narrow in width to just a few feet in some places, giving the channel a close and secretive atmosphere. The canyon is comparable to the Red Rose City of Petra in Jordan, although the spectacle of the colored canyons is completely natural.

Itinerary      

Tour Egypt Travel® representative will pick you up from your hotel in Dahab by 4x4 Jeep car driving towards the north about 90 kilometers on paved road and 7 kilometers on the desert. Arrive in Nuweiba on the coastline of the Red Sea to take some photos of the splendid panorama of its port and the Bedouin tribes. The mountains of Saudi Arabia on the other side of Aqaba Gulf can be seen from Nuweiba. Arrive to canyon mouth location then start to go down to the canyon to witness the wonderful natural colors of the rocks then back to the main road to an oasis. Have lunch during your tours. Then Back to your hotel.
