Ephesus Day Tour from Istanbul

With the first lights of the day, you will be picked from your hotel for a flight to Izmir. You will be transferred to airport to fly our target destination, Izmir. Once you arrive to airport, please proceed to counter to do self check-in and take your boarding pass by presenting your passport. Upon the boarding pass information, please go to boarding gate and embark. Your flight will last about one hour and when you land you will be welcomed by our representative at the first exit door. (Holding a sign with your name on it.) When you land at Izmir airport there you will meet with your well informed guide and driver and then we will go on a Ephesus Tour. First of all, we will visit ancient Greek city, Ephesus and The House of Virgin Mary, a marvellous place hidden in the green,with our professional guides. During the day, we will visit the most worth seeing remains of the city such as The Marble Street, The Odeon, Bouleterion, The Temple of Hadrian, The Trajan’s Fountain, The Mosaic street, The Agora, The Baths, The house, The Great Theatre, Harbour Street and the third largest library of the Ancient world: The famous Celsus Library.

After the lunch we will visit the House of Virgin Mary where she spent her last days, preferred to live in this remote place rather than in a crowded place.Then we will visit The Temple of Artemis, which is known as one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, and built in an area of Ephesus. Today one can only see the ruins of the foundations of this marvelous construction of the Hellenistic Age, entirely made of marble and full of sculptured columns’ capitals and shafts At the end of the day, after we see and learn many things and are surprised how they achived to build such structures at that time, you will be taken to the Izmir Airport for your turning back to Istanbul. After your arrival to airport, you will be welcomed by our representative at the first exit door. Then you will be transferred to your Istanbul hotel. End of services.
