Enjoy a splendid felucca ride in the Nile to Elephantine Island (also known as Abu or Yebu by ancient Egyptians) where authentic Nubian Villages can be found. The Nubian people, who speak various dialects of the Nubian language (Nobiin or Mahas), are an ethnic group originally from the north of Sudan and inhabit this part of Aswan for a long time. The three Nubian Villages are characterized by a beautiful landscape surrounded by palm trees in the bottom of the island. Experience the simplicity of their life and have lunch prepared by your Nubian hosts.

Itinerary

Tour Egypt Travel representative will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a felucca (a traditional wooden sailing boat) ride to the Nubian Villages situated at the bottom of Elephantine Island. Discover the Nubian Villages and the simple life of the very kind hospitable Nubian people. Then transfer back to your hotel.

Cancellation Policy

• Tour Egypt Travel® does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons beyond control. If cancellation happens due to personal or business reasons and Tour Egypt Travel® has already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
