Take an over day trip from your cruise to Cairo from Alexandria Port in order to discover Giza Pyramids. Tour Egypt Travel® private Egyptologist guide will pick you up from cruise exit door on a shore excursion; drive you for around 3 hours to Cairo. Pay the first visit to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus then the Great Sphinx of Giza and a visit to Temple Valley included. Take lunch included in a local Egyptian restaurant. After lunch-time, you will be transferred to Sakkara (Saqqara), the necropolis for the ancient Egyptian capital Memphis to visit the world most famous Step Pyramid of Djoser (also Step Tomb) that is considered to be the first pyramid built in Egypt around 2648 BC.

 Itinerary 

Tour Egypt Travel® representative will pick you up from Alexandria Port by the cruise exit door, holding a sign with your name. Enjoy a private shore excursion and day trip from Alexandria to Cairo for approximately 3 hours by an air-conditioned vehicle with one stop in the middle of the way, in case you need a rest. Get excited by a panoramic view of the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Lunch will be served in a local air-conditioned Egyptian restaurant. Continue to Sakkara to visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser made of lime stone, built by engineer Imhotep (Pharaoh Djoser's vizier). Before beginning your return trip to Alexandria, you will stop at papyrus institute where you will have the opportunity to shop for Cairo souvenirs.

Tour Voucher

Cancellation Policy

• Tour Egypt Travel® does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons beyond control. If cancellation happens due to personal or business reasons and Tour Egypt Travel® has already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
