Tour Egypt Travel® representative will pick you up from Alexandria Port by the exit door of your cruise, holding a sign with your name. Enjoy a private shore excursions and day trip from Alexandria to Cairo driven for approximately 3 hours by an air-conditioned vehicle with one stop in the middle of the way, in case you need a rest. Stand before the mythical Pyramids of Cheops (also Khufu), Chephren (also Khafra) and Mykerinus (Menkaure). Then proceed to the Great Sphinx of Giza, the head of a pharaoh (believed to be Khufu) with a lion's body. The tour includes a visit to the Valley Temple. Lunch will be served in a local Egyptian restaurant after which you will travel to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser (Zoser) with its rectangular base know as the Step Tomb sometimes, then you will visit Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt. In the end of the day may optionally stop at Papyrus Institute where you have the opportunity to shop for some Egyptian souvenirs. Then transfer to your hotel to check in and have an overnight.

Breakfast at your hotel and meet our friendly Egyptologist tour guide in the lobby to discover the Egyptian Museum, one of the most important and oldest museums in the world. Then you will visit Saladin Citadel of Cairo boosting the alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Lunch will be provided in an Egyptian restaurant. Continue to Old Cairo to enjoy the amazing Islamic and Coptic art in addition to a walk in the heart of Cairo. Then transfer to Khan El Khlily bazzar (if there’s enough time) one of the oldest markets in the Middle East. Then drive back to Alexandria to your board.
